
Best Value Awards 2011
The WINE Magazine’s Best Value Wine Guide focus on a quality/price ratio and the 2011 guide features wine within the constraint of a R60-per-bottle price ceiling. Only the best wines from a wide spectrum of styles were entered into the annual guide.
In the 2009 Best Value Guide Koelenhof received the honnours of being named The Best Value Cellar for 2009. As has been the case for the past few years Koelenhof Wine cellar has again a list of wines chosen for the guide. The following wines earned their place in the 2011 guide.

- Koelenhof Ruby Pino Porto 2004
- Koelenbosch Sangiovese 2009
- Koelenhof Pinotage Rose 2010
- Koelenhof Pinotage Rose Vin Sec 2010
- Koelenbosch Shiraz 2008
The Koelenbosch Sangiovese 2009 was further aknowledged as one of the fourteen top-scoring red wines. Also the Koelenbosch wood matured Chenin blanc 2009 received four stars, being one of only five four star white wine winners. (The criteria for a four star winner being ‘Excellent, wine of distinction’).
